Welcome to Vasse Skin & Aesthetics (VSA). My name is Mel and Im excited to welcome you to my private appointment-only clinic in the coastal city of Busselton, located in the South West of Western Australia.  

About Me...(in a mini-autobiography way!) 

I grew up in a regional country town in Western Australia and started my travelling adventures when I was 19, moving to Sydney to experience "big city" life. Living here opened my eyes and mind to what life can offer - at that time Sydney had it all going on, the Olympics where coming up so it was buzzing with international sporting stars and travellers; I could do weekend trips to the snow fields and snowboard to my hearts content; it was the gateway city to the world for most airlines which I saved and spent most of my earnings on plane tickets (helped that I worked for some major travel companies at the time)! UK, France, Italy, Bali, Cook Islands, Fiji, New Zealand and Canada.

When I returned to Sydney I had a "a-ha" moment when standing in a quirky bookstore in the Northern Beaches. I found a book about what your birthdate means in terms of career, life, and personality and read the line " should consider a career working with your hands" ... something that I could combine a love of  travel with and using my hands to help others feel good about themselves. So I enrolled in and graduated with an International Level of qualification in Beauty Therapy in 2007 and then jetted back to Canada to work in a 5 star resort day spa! 

So here I am, nearly two decades later, still working with my hands in an industry that I absolutely love, constantly learning new skills and techniques and have had some  amazing experiences living and working around Australia.

• Spa Poetry Buccal Facial Certificate (2024)
